Roshan M. Patel, MD

Dr. Patel completed undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago, earning a degree in Economics and Biological Sciences. He subsequently completed his MS in Biotechnology at Johns Hopkins University. His medical degree was earned at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, followed by an internship in General Surgery and a residency in Urology at the Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Patel joined the Department of Urology at UC Irvine in 2016 as a fellow under the mentorship of Dr. Ralph Clayman and Dr. Jaime Landman.

Dr Patel is fantastic. All 5 stars!!. His surgical staff is just as good all 5 stars. Not the follow up staff tho!! I have called to get a follow up appointment over 3 times and left message with the lady that answers calls for UCI. . Even wrote a message thru the UCI portal and i have not got a response. Even if they don't know when the appointment will be they could ask the Dr. Or call me back and say we haven't got a response back from the Dr. We will check again and call you back as to what he says. Hard for me to understand why this is not happening. Being a C/S manager for over 40 years I just don't get it. Service is about taking care of people!!
